What's your business, and who are your customers?
Eagle True Pilates Arts offers private Pilates sessions in a quiet setting. Sessions are focused on the individual needs of the client on that day, & focused on the development of strength & knowledge.
Tell us about yourself
I began practicing Pilates as a Professional Ballet Dancer. My mentors suggested I teach both Ballet and Pilates as I was very tall for most Ballet Companies. I saw very quickly how one's physical strength & control improved one's dancing & active lifestyle. I saw musicians & athletes & folks from every profession in the Pilates studio. Folks come into the studio rushed & stressed and leave opened & level-minded & walking taller & feeling good. I love seeing that kind of magic.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The smiles on my student's faces. The music of laughter as they realize accomplishment. Seeing their strength develop. Seeing them enjoy life on many levels.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Keeping up with our growing community.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Don't depend on the School of Hard Knocks. Get out there & get educated, know your business & develop your specialty. Conduct your business legally, fairly & honestly. Live up to your Mentors dreams for you & be an example. Do what you love!
