What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Freelance Writer for 20+ magazines. I interview celebs, entrepreneurs, global leaders, and nonprofits.

Tell us about yourself

I began as a high-tech writer. I have always been heavily involved in charity work. I began connecting with celebrities and organizing charity events and media for them. I pitched magazines to write about celebrities, and the rest is history. I've had a successful writing career since. Celebrities open doors to global leaders.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Interviewing Queens globally.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

People want everything for free. Publicity is not for free; someone is being paid, whether it is the publication, writer, PR Professional, or Publicist.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Network daily.
  2. Don't take things personally.
  3. Always plan 5 steps ahead.
