What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is maternity and newborn photography. Women that are pregnant that values photography and desire quality.

Tell us about yourself

My passion for newborn photography started at 10 years old when my baby sister was born. I relentlessly begged my mother for a camera. My first camera was a pink and purple 35mm from Walmart. I used to dress up my sister and posed her in my pretend studio for photo shoots. I looked forward to picking up my prints so I could display them all over my desk, locker, and binder. Since then, I haven't put my camera down.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Moving into a brick-and-mortar studio.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Running the cost of doing business and charging for it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Continually invest in the classes you need to run your business.
