What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is JJ Capital Investments. We are a multifamily investment firm. We pull groups of investors, purchase a property, renovate the property as needed and also look for ways to increase revenue and then either sell or refi the property in 3-5 years into the future for a greater return for our investors.

Tell us about yourself

I am second generation real estate. I started working with my parents on their investments when I was very young.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The numbers tell all about the growth of the business, but the personal development is priceless.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Stretching faster than any other role I have had from the software, real estate, service, accounting industries to IT Tech Startup C Suite employee, the stretching here is still greater.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Learn how to ask good questions.
2. Never stop reading books that help you grow.
3. To go faster, you have to invest in mentors.
