What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Master Business & Mindset Coach. I help coaches overcome imposter syndrome so they can confidently sign clients & grow their coaching business.

Tell us about yourself

I was finishing my Master's degree in 2017 and wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. I thought about becoming a therapist, but I would have needed more school and certification. And then I stumbled upon a Tony Robbins video on YouTube and found the coaching industry. I decided to become a coach right then and there, and it is honestly the most rewarding job.

I love getting on the phone with amazing humans every day, helping them understand themselves and their brains better.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I am a multi 6-figure business owner, reaching almost $400K in revenue by the end of this year, and in 2022 I self-published my first self-help book, You're Not Special.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The mental and emotional stamina it takes so you can be consistent. No one is doing the work for you - you have to show up for yourself, physically, mentally, and emotionally, every single day.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Invest in 1:1 mentorship for both your business-building and for your mindset right off the bat.
  2. Don't make anything mean anything. You cannot succeed without making mistakes, without feeling like a fraud when you're taking risks, and without failure. Take everything in stride and keep going.
  3. Connect back to your purpose, whether it's a goal for you, your family, or the world. Stay connected to WHY you're doing this, which will help you during the hard times.
