What's your business, and who are your customers?

Jigsaw Health is bridging the gap between health and entertainment by providing the highest quality dietary supplements that money can buy while providing "edu-tainment" — educating consumers on how they can improve their health in a fun and entertaining way. We believe LAUGHTER is the best medicine; MAGNESIUM is a close second. ;-)

Since 2005, Jigsaw Health has been developing the highest quality science-based nutritional supplements, including MagSRT®, America's #1 Time Release Magnesium Supplement. In 2018, MagSRT® was evaluated in the Scottsdale Magnesium Study, a placebo-controlled, human clinical trial of 91 participants, published in the peer-reviewed Journal of the American College of Nutrition. Tell us about yourself

I am the CEO & Ashley Leroux Sullivan (Director of Sales); my wife is the team that runs Jigsaw Health's operations. We love to laugh and entertain. As professional musicians (Ashley, a singer, Me, a guitarist), we used to play an average of 50 gigs per year. We are now retired, but the music still lives on because even though Jigsaw Health is a nutrition company, music & health collide when they create fun musical parody videos as a way to "edu-tain" customers about Jigsaw Health products.

Me and Ashley have an obvious passion for FUN, which is probably why we are diehard Pickleball Addicts. And we also love helping people feel good. Thus the company tagline coined by Ashley, "It's fun to feel good." It's no surprise that the culture of Jigsaw Health is a reflection of FUN and FEELING GOOD!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Jigsaw Health was one of the first and largest sponsors of pro-Pickleball in 2019 and has become one of the most beloved brands in the Pickleball community.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest but most important things about being a business owner is hiring (and keeping) good employees. At Jigsaw Health, we focus on building a caring, creative, and team-oriented environment where every member of the team is considered part of the "Jamily" (Jigsaw Health family). And just like the company tagline, "It's FUN to feel good," everything about the Jigsaw Health company culture has FUN at the core. From the well-stocked break-room and relaxing "Zen Room" to the generous revenue sharing program that every employee gets to take part in. We believe in transparency and the ability to reward employees financially based on the growth of the company.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Employee happiness leads to customer happiness.
  2. The customer is ALWAYS right. Go above and beyond to surprise and delight customers when they are least expecting it. Happy customers become your best advertising!
  3. Beware of digital marketing scams. Find your tribe, and go deep into serving that community.
