What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a business and mindset coach. I've earned the nickname "The Millionaire Maker" by conducting affordable financial education seminars for people that truly want to live a more abundant life AND, instead of just talking about it, take action. My financial empowerment classes focus on identifying the core of your mindset about money, teaching how to make your money work for you as opposed to you working for your money, and how to retire in dignity. My clients are people that want to learn how to increase their cash flow by 20% to 30% or more and learn the surest way to make a million dollars in 3 years or less.

Tell us about yourself

In 1999, I met a man that changed my life forever. He was a businessman that was so successful he was getting ready to buy an island! Here I was, an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force for 18 years living paycheck to paycheck. I didn't even know people could have enough money to buy an island! He told me that he could show me how to make more in a month than the military paid me in a year. With that, he became my mentor, and he certainly kept his word. I now own a company called Financial Legacy Firm, and I give back to others the same way my first mentor did to me decades ago. I believe the average hard-working person has the same needs as the mega-rich but just doesn't have the resources. That's why I created the Super Wealth System to teach people how to work less, earn more, pay fewer taxes, become debt free, and have time and financial freedom. I also teach classes on building a successful business, finding and associating with the right people, and Top-Level leadership skills to entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporations.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

For the past 20+ years, I've specialized in working with entrepreneurs and business owners, both nationally and internationally, helping increase their revenue, income, and profits. My biggest accomplishment is being able to give back to communities by hosting a series of unique Financial Education seminars for individuals, couples, businesses, and Churches. My passion is teaching the average hard-working person the savings and investing strategies of self-made millionaires.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

As a business owner, you have to be self-motivated. Self-imposed inner thoughts keep people believing they can never become more successful than they are now. Business owners must be ready to examine their own roadblocks to success, apply proven business-building strategies, and create a personal plan to reach their goals.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a mentor. I believe if you want to be successful, find someone that is successfully doing what you want to do and learn from them. You'll be amazed how working with an experienced mentor will replace the fear of the unknown with the excitement of achieving your dreams. It doesn't take a ton of money, it doesn't take great credit, and it doesn't take a fancy education. But a helping hand from a Coach could make all the difference!
  2. Find a way to serve the many. Your knowledge, skills, and experiences are valuable to millions of people. Discover what you can offer that will add value to people's lives, and people will gladly be willing to pay you for sharing with them.
  3. Be mindful of who you associate with. You can not take everyone with you. In order to be successful, you have to let some things and some people go.
