What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am very passionate about personal development and educating myself on various psychology topics. After spending years in therapy, I discovered life coaching, and that's when everything changed. I went from living in the past feeling like a victim to becoming a thriving independent woman. I am finally comfortable in my own skin and intrinsically happy and confident, and I want to help as many other women empower themselves.
Tell us about yourself
I am the owner and creator of Jen's Life Coaching, LLC. I help women build and maintain their self-confidence and intrinsic happiness by living their authentic lives without apologizing for it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Stepping outside of my comfort zone and putting myself out there despite what people may think. Owning my own successful business has been a 20+ year dream.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Stepping away from work to focus on myself. When you do what you love, it becomes a passionate addiction.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't tell your friends or family. Sadly they are the biggest dream-busters.
- Hire a business coach and just do it.
- Just when you are about to give up, find the strength to go another day.
