What's your business, and who are your customers?
As a wellness coach, I empower women to take control of their fertility journey with plant-based nutrition and toxin elimination. I also advocate for hormone-safe products in my partnership with Hugh & Grace.
Tell us about yourself
A few years ago, we went through fertility treatments without any success. Once we changed our diets and lifestyles, eliminating toxins, we were finally able to get pregnant. I feel drawn to help other women get pregnant and become parents, in addition to being the healthiest version of themselves. As a physician, we often do not have the time to educate our patients about what they can do to prevent illnesses. I love working with clients as a coach because I have more time to teach them, talk about their goals, and work toward them together. It is the best, most rewarding partnership!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every time when my clients achieve the goals that they set for themselves!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having to be an extrovert is definitely getting me out of my comfort zone, but I am meeting amazing, inspirational women along the way - and that makes it all worth it!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Gather your support system - people who will support you through the ups and downs of starting a business.
- Don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone.
- Set specific, short-term goals that ultimately contribute to your long-term goals.
