What's your business, and who are your customers?
We live in a society that's mostly attached to being more positive than negative, concentrating on eliminating all negative thoughts, words and deeds. The secret is understanding that both Positive AND Negative play an equally important part in the cycles of our lives. All cycles are powered by the presence of both positive and negative charge in equal amounts - electricity is a fabulous example of this - no negative charge, no electricity. And our thoughts and feelings also operate within cycles.
When we are operating from the extreme - extreme overthinking and extreme emotions - they prevent us from being centred and focused and distract us from clearly and naturally accessing our inner "knowing" - our genius. The Epiphany Process provides powerful and accurate sets of skills and techniques that take distracting excessive overthinking and extreme emotions and make them manageable - replacing confusion and overwhelm with spontaneous Clarity, Certainty, and Confidence.
Tell us about yourself
My 16-year-old daughter, Jenny, ended her life after she and I had an argument. It happened at a time when I was questioning myself, my skills, abilities, and focus, then this greatest life test happened. Over the following months, I battled to gain equilibrium and come to terms with my deepest loss. Even though I tried to be positive and live a normal life, it was overwhelming. Quite prophetically, 9 months after Jen passed, I studied, researched, and fine-honed the basics of the process that has provided the foundation of my work today; I called this 'The Epiphany Process.' I established the tools and ability to work my loss by further researching, expanding, and fine-honing basic principles and making them relevant to a global audience.
I was a motivational speaker back then, and I noticed that people returned after a couple of days, a week, or a month literally saying words like "I need another dose of Jenetta"… "We need another Jenetta fix" - I realised that I had become their drug to artificially uplift themselves using my energy. I then analysed this thinking to develop and expand my learning, understanding, and intuition.
From my tragedy came my purpose. I now have a Harley Street Consultancy, where I use my experience, knowledge, and expertise to help others gain clarity. We also run weekly online group calls through to 1:1 consultations, and our two certification programs have produced stunning results. We've helped people view the world from an alternative perspective and regain control of their lives – it's simply amazing. I also speak internationally, both on stage and online, as a keynote speaker. Increasingly, The Epiphany Process is gaining international attention using online digital channels and Social Media.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Walking the walk with my loss, establishing The Epiphany Process, and creating an impact with all of this internationally online for over 15 years. Creating the charities attached to The Epiphany Processes - INS;GHT Theatrical Production and World Jenny's Day - 10 October.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The great tracts of aloneness at times.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Make sure you do a sound process of what might not work that you thought would and what could work that you thought might not. A lot of internal self-work on hidden fears and judgments will ease you into accurately dealing with any fantasies or misconceptions about being an entrepreneur.
