Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jen Clara Roth, Clarity Coach, based in Denver, CO, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Clarity Coaching, our customers are Powerful Women, for the most part, who are seeking to be more aligned in what they are doing for work and in their personal life. Some may have lost their light or had it dim for a chapter or a season, and my favorite thing to do is support them in the journey of lighting themselves back up. Creating the internal energy source that no one else can strip from them. Helping them discover the gift that is only theirs to give to this world.

Tell us about yourself

What first got me started working on this business was the pure joy and excitement I experienced with each and every one of my coaching clients. I feel like I'm levitating when I get to watch someone come back to life. When I get to see them sometimes share for the first time dreams they have been holding on to so deeply they haven't shared them out loud for the world to hear.

I am personally doing this work every day, and it is my mission to share these tools with as many people as possible. I know these tools have the opportunity to make a profound shift in people's lives when they implement.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Finding my passion for becoming a clarity coach. This process and operating system provide energy for me from the deep well within. There is no better sense of accomplishment than getting to see my Clients' dreams come to fruition in the physical form. The other day I visited a former client's wellness shop, which had been her dream for many years! She did it! I have 'pinch me' moments when I get to stand in the physical locations of something that was once just a picture painted in someone else's mind.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being consistent and showing up for myself first and foremost. Keeping up with all of the creative ideas that flow through me in a day, and want to do them all now. Choosing the most important priority in the present moment and being patient as it all unfolds can be challenging but also incredibly rewarding!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Figure out what it is you are most passionate about and what you absolutely love to do the most. Pay attention to the things that come the easiest to you and follow those breadcrumbs. Spend time each day or week doing something you love. That vibration you feel while doing your favorite things will bring you into alignment with what you came here to do.
  2. Find communities and tribes of people who lift you up and believe in your dreams and aspirations. There are so many communities today that have tremendous support for your journey.
  3. Be kind to yourself! Focus on small wins every day. They really do lead to big shifts and the desires that are in your heart.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?
