What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a piano teacher/pianist/freelancer in the greater NYC area. My customers are piano students or anyone else who chooses to hire me.
Tell us about yourself
I started working on my own business since I knew I could do a good job and motivate students to improve and succeed. What motivates me each day is that I am helping students improve in piano and develop their creative and artistic sides.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My business is still growing, so basically, to be able to support myself with it.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The ups and downs, people management, complicated situations, and how to deal with them and come out a winner. Or how to brush some problems off because there will always be a new opportunity tomorrow.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just try not to stress too much.
