What's your business, and who are your customers?
Phoenix Soaring Intl is a business of helping people live the life their soul is calling them to love. I offer retreats, workshops, and coaching programs as part of meeting that mission. What my clients have in common is a desire for more in their life, better relationships, improved health, a change in their job, or building a business. Dreams come in all shapes and sizes and at different times in our lives. I'm here to help people live the life they love.
Tell us about yourself
I've spent most of my career life helping people make life-changing decisions - i.e., career transition, education choices, weight loss, and health. After leaving the corporate environment, I decided for my dream to help others realize their dreams. I love what I do! If I can make a positive difference in one person's life, then what I do is worth it and motivation enough for me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think getting started in business is a huge accomplishment, but keeping it going is an even bigger one. I went out on my own with my business, under a different name, in 2016. Seven years later, I'm more excited about what I'm doing and working with clients than ever!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Well, wouldn't it be great if we only had to wear one hat as a business owner? But the truth is that as a solopreneur, I've had to learn a lot about sales, marketing, finances, taxes, and technology, just to name a few. It keeps me learning and growing. I have begun to contract some of that work out to others, but it is still part of the daily operations of being in business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Ask for help when you need it.
- Be willing to learn and grow.
