What's your business, and who are your customers?
JCXSHRED LLC is a wellness company that focuses on helping everyone have a healthy mind, body & soul through meal prep assistance, exercise classes (online & in person), and learning how to manage stress the healthy way. My audience is any gender from age 18 and older.
Tell us about yourself
Hello everyone; my name is Jamilah Conway. I'm an Alumna of The Great Bethune Cookman University. I received my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies concentration in Exercise Science/Health & Wellness minor in Athletic Training. I was inspired by many individuals in my life (teachers, parents & close friends) to start making a change in the world. With 16 Yrs+ of experience in this inspiring industry (Professionally & Self-Taught), I was able to obtain endless knowledge and certifications.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment was being able to bring CBD/Hemp products to my website. These products help with pain, arthritis, and muscle pain. This helps with recovery so our clients are not feeling stiff by doing normal daily activities.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hard part of being a business owner and finding the right location to bring in the right type of audience.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stay Positive at all times.
- Be Creative in everything you do.
- Self Care Is Essential for being a business owner (take care of yourself first so you can take care of others properly).
