I Empower People for Positive Transformation - James Lambert

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with James Lambert, founder of James Lambert Coaching, located in London, England, UK.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

James Lambert Coaching was born in 2013 after I saw the need and opportunity for personal trainers to offer life coaching and mentoring support as well as traditional fitness training to their clients. My customers are men who all have a fighting spirit in common. Whether they fight for a living or have a high-pressure, stress-filled job, they all benefit from my coaching.

Tell us about yourself

As a former martial artist, doorman, bare-knuckle fighter, and unlicensed boxer, my life was very violent and unhappy. Through constant learning, hard work, patience, prayer, and a ceaseless desire to live at peace with myself and others, James Lambert Coaching was born in 2013. Having created my “Unstoppable Blueprint” for a more peaceful, productive, passionate, and positive-filled life for myself, I love teaching others to do the same in their own lives. My work is not a job but a calling to me. It is my purpose. I love to teach, to remind others of their unstoppable true worth and potential. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve, and every day is a blessing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Hearing from people that were feeling suicidal. That after watching a video I created, reading a book I wrote, or coming across a post online that I shared, they made the beautiful decision to choose life and to stay alive.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

It’s also, in my opinion, one of the best things about being a business owner is that the buck stops with you. As in life, to a great extent, you get out what you put in.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Put your ego to one side.
  2. Be patient.
  3. Be flexible. Change is constant and necessary.
