What's your business, and who are your customers?
Jada Candle. Soy candles are a good consumer choice for green candles made from 100% vegetable wax that won't pollute your air, are eco-friendly, clean-burning, and, best of all, made from a renewable resource! The perfect complement to a healthy and environmentally conscious home.
Tell us about yourself
I am from San Andres Island, Colombia moved to Florida in 2001. It occurred to me to create a line of natural candles; when I was in a department store, I was right in the line of candles just walking, the aromas the smell of each one caught my attention, and I looked at them all, I smelled them, and I was Looking all the section, and I said all It has different aromas But with the same container.
I got home and began to investigate, and I embarked on this adventure called Jada Candle; the candles we are used to (paraffins) are made with petroleum derivatives that pollute the environment, in addition to leaving soot, and the candle consumes six times faster than a natural one.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I chose to work with wax from natural oils as a raw material, which is soy wax, a material derived from plants.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
You have to prepare yourself Economically and Mentally.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do not stop believing in your dreams.
- Everything is possible.
- Be consistent.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I would like to open a showroom soon to be able to show candle lovers my collections and to have doors open for new clients.
