What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is designing websites and fixing computer issues for people. My customers are anyone that needs a website or has a computer issue that needs fixing and doesn't want to have to break the bank.
Tell us about yourself
I started using computers in the mid 90's and helping friends and family out any time they have a tech issue, such as a problem with their computer or smartphone. So I decided this would be the perfect career for me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment, I would say, is my work helping out a surveying company with their websites. I put in a lot of work with web design coding.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me, I would say, is advertising, just getting my name out there.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I would say, first of all, just go for it. The second would be to follow up with customers often. And 3rd would be to document hours and finances well and keep that information saved and backed up.
