What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a psycho-trauma therapist; I have my own practice. I help individuals and groups to become more trauma-informed in order to heal from personal trauma.

Tell us about yourself

I am someone who wants everyone to win. I believe that in order to walk in your true purpose, you first must ensure that you take care of yourself through personal healing work. I am motivated daily to work with people so that they can live their best life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Transitioning to full-time business owner allowed me to create the life that I most desire.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing as a business owner is wearing multiple hats all the time. Prioritizing is important so that the immediate needs are met so that it does not affect the business and the client's that I serve.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Research, Research, Research-you can never know enough. Learn from others.
  2. You need a mentor-You should always have someone in the business or who is at where you want to go to check in with and who can give you the feedback you need in order to grow.
  3. Being consistent-starting a business takes grit and determination. Show up, and most importantly, take care of yourself. If you aren't well, either mentally or physically, your business suffers, and you deserve the very best.
