What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a full-time photographer. I specialize in street and brand photography. I also sell print and canvas wall art for businesses as well as for house decor. So it ranges from a neighbor of mine or a local business that needs content or an art collector.

Tell us about yourself

What got me started was the death of my cousin, so I got into it as a way of dealing with my depression over that. So it helps motivate me to keep going and getting better bc he wouldn’t let me slack off, and I just really love being an artist/creative. To be able to tell a story through my pics keeps me highly motivated to see what I can come up with next.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I think my work being part of an installment in the muse gallery is my biggest accomplishment so far. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Dealing with people who don’t appreciate what you bring to the table or do but try to get over on you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don’t follow trends.
  2. Prepare to work harder than you ever did but make sure it’s your passion so it won’t really feel like work.
  3. Spread love, and it’ll come back.

Live life, and no dream or goal is out of reach.
