Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Isaüra Tsama, Founder of INTRINSIC, located in Paris, France.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Personal brand Stylist. I help global women experts and speakers looking to command rooms, establish a strong brand presence and make an impact in the business world, and build an authentic, strategic and profitable personal style.

Tell us about yourself

I am French, and fashion has always held an important place in my life. I started my career as an international women's fashion Buyer. I have always considered fashion a powerful tool to express who we are, but when I realized that dressing for work was a daily struggle for many businesswomen, I decided to create my own business in 2016. I've designed a unique method that combines personal style, branding, and personal development techniques that empower women to have more confidence, impact, influence, and income at work.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being a business owner is a challenging but rewarding journey. I can't believe that my company is about to celebrate its 7th anniversary! There is nothing more satisfying than coming up with an idea to improve people's lives, implementing it, and seeing the positive results it brings. Over the years, my method has helped hundreds of women achieve career success, and I am honored to have supported extraordinary women from all over the world!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

You should also expect to face all kinds of challenges. Getting in front of your ideal clientele is not an easy task, especially when you are just starting out.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Build your community as soon as possible. With social media, you have many options to attract your ideal customers.
  2. The entrepreneurial life can be lonely - surround yourself with business owners who will support you in challenging times.
  3. Delegate time-consuming tasks that prevent you from developing your business as you want.
