Our families have a special connection to America, the country of opportunity. They traveled far for these opportunities and their promises, enduring hardships to give their kids a chance at something better. We strive hard out of love and appreciation - we are filled with ambition that our parents fought so vigorously for us to pursue.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, getting through the COVID pandemic has undoubtedly been our greatest accomplishment. It was a stark reminder of how quickly and dramatically things can change in an ever-evolving economy. With savvy planning, creative problem-solving, and hard work, we were able to develop strategies to manage unexpected disruptions and stay afloat during such tough challenges. Most importantly, we were able to help my employees continue to thrive both professionally and personally. That sense of purpose has been incredibly rewarding and has helped us become even more resilient in facing future uncertainties.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Owning a business can be both rewarding and challenging at the same time. One of the most difficult factors to navigate is managing an employee base, from hiring and onboarding to keeping team morale up during hard times. With increased competition for talent, recruiting qualified individuals is often an uphill battle, and once hired, making sure people stay engaged can be equally challenging. Unsurprisingly, one of the greatest burdens many business owners have faced in recent years is keeping their employees employed as demand slows or shifts amidst turbulent economic conditions.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Have a clear vision and plan for your business. Before starting a business, it's important to have a clear vision or idea of what you plan to accomplish and how you envision doing it because it will help you focus your efforts and resources and increase your chances of success.
2. Be flexible and adaptable. The business world is constantly changing, and adapting to new situations and challenges is important. Be open to new ideas, be willing to change your approach if something isn't working, and try to remember it won't go exactly as planned.
3. Build a strong team. Surround yourself with people who are skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. This will help you grow your business and achieve your goals. Make sure the people on your side are rooting for you.
