What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the founder of the Academy of MotivAction, a Neuro-Science-based training company for entrepreneurs and thought leaders. Using tools and techniques from behavioral research and science, I have transformed thousands to achieve financial freedom, get things under control, and feel a sense of mastery and happiness. I am a serial entrepreneur and international speaker who has reached the top 1.6% of all women-owned businesses in the United States. I am an ICF Certified Coach & Board-Certified Trainer of NLP. I have a soft spot for exotic cats and love to travel the world.
Tell us about yourself
As a result of my journey, I realized that success and happiness are not just about business strategies but rather a combination of the right mindset and action. Through my experience and research, I have discovered that 80% of success comes from mindset and only 20% from simple business rules and math. This led me to start the Academy of MotivAction, a Neuro-Science-based training company for entrepreneurs and thought leaders, where I use tools and techniques from behavioral research and science to help individuals transform and achieve financial freedom, get things under control, and feel a sense of mastery and happiness. Additionally, I became a mentor with SCORE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping small businesses succeed through education and mentorship. I believe in the importance of giving back and sharing my knowledge with others to help them achieve their goals and find success and happiness.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Running a 7-figure business and being recognized as one of the top 1.6% of women-owned businesses in just two years is a significant accomplishment. It showcases your hard work, determination, and ability to overcome challenges. Balancing the demands of motherhood, marriage, and running a successful business is no small feat, and I am proud of myself.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being an entrepreneur or thought leader can be demanding, and it's common to prioritize business needs over personal ones. This can lead to feelings of guilt, burnout, and decreased confidence. It's important to recognize when it's time to take a step back, delegate tasks, and prioritize self-care. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential for long-term success, and taking care of yourself can help boost your confidence, creativity, and overall well-being. Remember to pay yourself, and your needs attention, and don't be afraid to seek support from others, whether it be family, friends, or professional help.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
It takes three steps to create and accelerate success in any area of life.
