Tell us about yourself
I used to be a CFO and financial planner and have always been interested in investments. I retired early last year and wanted to help others do the same.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Retiring early.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
It can be stressful trying to do everything, managing people, building a product, etc. It's all on your shoulders. As one mentor once told me, "The great thing about being a business owner is the flexibility - you can work any 16 hours of the day you want."
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Pay yourself first.
- Stay out of debt.
- You're not a business until you sell something.
