What's your business, and who are your customers?

Invictus Research is "hedge fund quality research for everyone." We provide institutional quality investment research on stocks, bonds, commodities, and currencies at a fraction of the price of Wall Street providers. And our research is delivered over video, which makes it easier (and more entertaining) to consume.

Tell us about yourself

The global economy and the financial markets are a giant puzzle. There's nothing more rewarding than figuring out how those puzzle pieces fit together.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As cliche as it sounds, our client list is our greatest achievement. It's humbling to interact with so many brilliant investors every day.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

There are only 24 hours in a day, and there are 36 hours of work to do! Learning how to delegate work effectively is critical. And giving yourself permission to relax and unwind is important too.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Just get started. It's so easy to talk yourself out of it, but every journey begins with a first step.
  2. Don't be discouraged if your business isn't "firing on all cylinders" right away. Good things take time.
  3. Have a support network. Starting a business is full of "ups and downs." Having friends and family to keep you even-keeled is invaluable.
