Grow Your Business - Intuitive Business Connections

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jadi Kindred, Founder of Intuitive Business Connections, located in Prevost, QC, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My clients are primarily overly worked executives, entrepreneurs, and business professionals needing more balance in their life, while also looking for more money and freedom. I consider myself unique because my intention with coaching is about empowering my clients to trust their intuition.

Our intuition is our best friend and only wants the best for us. Business professionals tend to be so busy that they don't slow down to hear the whispers or gut knowing about either important work or life decisions. I help people with time management and a wellness strategy to have more time and vitality to focus on their passions and things that light them up.

Tell us about yourself

Since 2011, I have been coaching French entrepreneurs and business professionals to speak English more confidently. After a decade in business, my business coach said I would be a perfect business coach, who planted that seed in my mind.

I can relate to my clients who have worked seven days a week for years. After over a decade of being an entrepreneur, I now have learned how to manage my company for 1-2 hours a day, earning more and having more free time. Since I can work from anywhere, I am currently traveling in Costa Rica.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I grew my business from zero to six figures intuitively, then wrote an Amazon bestseller about it called Intuitive Business Connections. Learning French as an adult and then started my company and networking in a second language. Seven years later, receiving the local Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneurs Award and gave an acceptance speech, in French, to over 400 business professionals.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Work/life balance. Setting boundaries about your time away from work, knowing your core values (freedom, family, health, perseverance, generosity, etc.), and having the integrity to live them. Naturally, people say family and health are essential, but how often is family or self-care in an entrepreneur's schedule? It's necessary, to be honest with yourself when managing your time and company.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. I always say do what you would do for free, then charge a lot of money. Money is simply an exchange of energy, and if your product and service provide value, others should also value it.
  2. Learn to delegate and manage your company early on. Avoid creating a job for yourself by having to be there seven days a week.
  3. It's the small daily steps that make all the difference and can change the trajectory of our lives. I wrote a chapter titled: Daily Habits That Change Everything.
  4. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Entrepreneurship is all about being out of your comfort zone on a daily basis.
