What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a business specializing in pelvic health. We create products and solutions to help people with sensitive health issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, and post-cancer issues.
Tell us about yourself
I have a doctorate degree in physical therapy and specialize in pelvic health physical therapy. I wanted to create products to empower people to reach their goals and manage sensitive health issues. I am motivated by my patient's and customers' success stories and watching them live the lives that they want.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We have served people all over the united states and have expanded into a global brand. Our patented products have received heartwarming testimonials about how they have helped people.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
In manufacturing, there are always surprises. Our products bring a quality of life to people who are suffering, so pushing through supply issues has been imperative.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Understand that any business comes with tasks you don't want to do or challenges that seem impossible. In order to last, you will need to be able to withstand doing hard things!
- Feeding your creativity by reading or participating in activities in areas outside of your expertise or domain is imperative. There will come a point where you may feel burned out or out of ideas. That is where feeding your mind with other topics can help spark a new concept or solution.
- Align yourself with people who have grit and are dedicated to working through problems. My business partner is a true engine in terms of pushing through problems. I am so thankful for that.
