Tell us about yourself
What started as a hobby on the side has become my full-time job. I began by making vinyl records for local bands I liked and wanted to support. It was a mix of running a record label and working on an art project. Now, after 12 years, it has grown into a complete service where we manufacture vinyl records.
It's amazing to think about how much we've accomplished and how things have changed over time. I feel proud of what we've achieved and the impact we've had on the music and art community. I'm really excited to see what lies ahead and what new opportunities are ahead.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It's rewarding to see the reactions from our customers when they get their records. Getting to see them on someone's turntable "out in the wild" it's pretty cool. This was a wild idea that's getting a little bigger each day... I still get to be creative; I love what I do.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the most challenging aspects of running a business is learning how to stop overthinking. You're not going to be right all the time; you're always going to be thinking you should be doing something else. Do the best you can each day, and make things a little better the next.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Starting and growing a business takes hard work and learning from your experiences. Stay focused on your goals, be ready to adapt, and always look for ways to make your business better.
