What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a consulting, training, and coaching firm specializing in developing skills and competencies to make working with others easier by improving interpersonal relationships, psychological safety, and workplace wellness at every level of the organization, such as among leaders and employees.
Tell us about yourself
I first started working with organizations as a trainer, and then I noticed most of the issues were surrounding interpersonal issues. As a Conflict Analyst, I am trained to identify the causes of conflicts and how to reduce frequent interpersonal challenges at work. I am motivated to do this work because I love seeing people happy at work, and secondly, it allows me to work from my zone of genius every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment comes from my daily practice of looking for ways to serve my clients better. This has led to me authoring six books. It has also birthed the school wellness joint program with Miami University to offer staff wellness in schools across the State of Ohio.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Self-discipline to focus on the important instead of the urgent.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Grow yourself.
- Get some experience in the field you want to serve.
- Get creative to help your customers solve a specific problem.
