What's your business, and who are your customers?

As an ambassador for change, I work with ambitious individuals who are looking to improve performance, work smarter and cultivate the lives, careers, and businesses they desire.

Tell us about yourself

I began my early adult life recovering from an abusive relationship. The psychological abuse had attacked my self-esteem and self-worth, and this had a consequence on how I was living my life. My eating disorder was the one thing I could control, and I did not really know who I was, what I wanted, or how I would ever make a change.

I began to work on rebuilding my confidence and became focused on self-discovery and understanding people and their behaviour. Alongside the work I was doing in my private life, I was lucky enough to receive mentoring and coaching at work which transformed my career in marketing, corporate relationships, and business development.

I am now living the change and having experienced the benefits of a powerful coaching outcome. I am passionate about creating a space for others to discover their potential, take action, and start living it.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I feel totally privileged to get to do what I love, which is helping others to fulfill their potential and discover something life-changing about themselves. It is also a joy to work with so many great clients who continue to motivate and keep me curious.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

My biggest challenge was starting before I felt ready and doing something I had never done before. It has been uncomfortable and time-consuming and has tested my confidence and competence, but it has been the most fantastic opportunity to grow. Some great advice that someone once gave me was to "get comfortable being uncomfortable, " which is a great reminder when things feel difficult.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a plan – this includes market research and setting yourself goals.
  2. Network - surround yourself with the right people and seek the support you need. I would suggest including a coach as part of your network.
  3. Create new daily habits – on the toughest days, when you feel like nothing is happening and you might be struggling with motivation; your daily habits will keep you moving forward.
