What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business guides those who are ready to develop higher levels of conscious awareness, to create a life and professional career they love and enjoy. As a Leadership and Mindset Coach, I work with Fortune 500 companies, top executives, high performing teams and facilitate 1:1 coaching and women's group coaching programs. As a company, we are on a mission to positively impact 1 million lives, one thought at a time.
Tell us about yourself
My passion for educating, inspiring, and empowering others has fueled both my personal and professional worlds. I started my business after a career in the education and training realm. Coaching was something that I was very interested in pursuing, but I stopped myself for several years because I didn't know the first thing about starting or running a business. When I made the decision to invest in mentorship, I quickly started taking steps to form our LLC and found a business partner that had the same values and passion for making a difference in the lives of others. The best part is that my business partner is my sister, and each day we are able to use our strengths to stay inspired. We have both seen friends, family, and clients struggle with the challenges of not having mental clarity, and after years of experience and certifications, we love guiding others to mental freedom by developing their self-awareness and confidence.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a business owner, my biggest accomplishments come every time we help our clients get what they want! When we started our business, we initially focused on facilitating women's coaching groups, and that quickly turned into attracting contracts with larger corporations, coaching business owners, and their teams. We've seen the greatest results with clients who trust the process, even if coaching is something they have never tried or tried other modalities, and it didn't work for them. Ultimately, seeing our clients succeed has been a wonderful payback to being a business owner.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that came with being a business owner for me was when I left my corporate job and initially not knowing how it would all work out. There are many challenges, but the transition from a steady income to making sure you and your business partner are making the right choices financially has taught me a lot about myself and my personal relationships. Through the ups and downs, the number one thing that I have learned is to stay persistent with your dreams and goals!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The top three tips I would give to someone looking to start, run and grow a business are to see selling as a transfer of inspiration, create a marketing strategy that feels good to you, and finally, connect to your purpose because you won't always feel like doing the hard stuff every day, but it will always be worth the effort!
