What's your business, and who are your customers?
Inspire Leadership Coaching offers services in coaching, training, consulting, and public speaking events. Whether in education or business, our goal is to help you discover your hidden potential as a leader, fully understand it and implement it. We help remove barriers and obstacles, coaching you to uncover a life without limits and making your dreams come true.
Tell us about yourself
I began my career as a science and chemistry teacher in 1997, and for the past 15 years have served as a school principal, guiding improvement initiatives and providing instructional leadership to staff and students in elementary, middle, and high schools. I am presently a Principal/School Efficacy Leader within my school board and a Provincial Leadership Coach within my professional association. I am also the founder of Inspire Leadership Coaching and the host of 2 podcasts: Inspire Leadership Podcast, and This Is Leadership.
My life's purpose is to be present and live fully every day. I strive to be better in order to share the best version of myself so that others can experience high energy and positivity and have a life filled with success. I am very passionate about personal growth, particularly in leadership development. Inspire Leadership Coaching allows me to live my purpose, adding value to others in their quest to become a better version of themselves each and every day. As John Maxwell said: "Everything rises and falls on leadership." Being part of another person's journey to success is what motivates me!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Although my business is very small, I am very proud of the reach I have had across the country. So far, I have had the privilege to work with organizations in 4 different provinces.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Motivation. You have to intentionally develop the habits and the growth mindset to keep pushing your business farther, trying to stay ahead of the curve.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be ready to put in the work.
- Don't expect overnight success. It takes time.
- Be resilient. Don't quit - build success on the foundation of your failures.
