Tell us about yourself
Starting my first business at the age of 19, with my family's support in retail, I expanded into another shop three years later and then moved to Canberra with lots more changes ahead. I have always been motivated by taking an idea from nothing, turning it into something, and helping people succeed.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Taking an idea from a retail customer that turned into an importing business, that turned into a manufacturing business, then that turned into an exporting business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Losing it all and starting again. Being prepared to risk it to grow and being able to dust yourself off and start again.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Research and gather information regarding key decisions, continue learning, and trust your gut feelings.
