What's your business, and who are your customers?
We support individuals in reaching their highest potential, and we support companies in building and creating high-impact leadership teams. Our programs are designed to develop the personal capacity to integrate who you really are and what your purpose in life is from a place of powerful inner alignment and clarity. Our programs are also designed to develop the tools you need to be able to coach and communicate with others from genuine authenticity.
Our customers are individuals from all ages and backgrounds interested in living the best version of themselves, as well as companies interested in creating high-impact leadership teams with high resiliency, transparency, and commitment levels.
Tell us about yourself
I founded the Innerland Institute based in Vancouver, Canada, in 2003. I'm the co-creator of the IBC (Inquiry-Based Coaching) method. A powerful self-awareness methodology to support individuals and organizations in addressing repetitive, unconscious, destructive, and stressful patterns that get in the way of talent, clarity, empowerment, inner alignment, and success. I have been offering one-on-one coaching, conferences, workshops, and immersions in Canada, the USA, Mexico, and Europe for three decades.
I hold a BA and MA in applied philosophy. I am a Philosophical Counsellor and a member of the American Philosophical Practitioners Association in New York. I have completed the Applied IFS Therapy program at the Adler Graduate School in Toronto. I served as director for The Institute for The Work in Los Angeles, CA, and as director of Human Rights Sector for Tibet House. I was a participant in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games (sailing), a Philosophy professor, as well as a dedicated practitioner of several meditation traditions.
What motivates me each day is the fact that I'm able to have a high-level impact on individuals, organizations, and their leaders that are not able to flow with their natural talents and alignment due to head trash. I support them with extremely effective tools to clean that up and watch them thrive.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The foundation, sustainment, and thriving of the Innerland Institute for 20 years. Creating communities of amazing people around the world that thrive through our inquiry methods and live a much more fulfilling life led by their clarity and inner freedom. Being able to lead and share Innerland's powerful impact through trainings, workshops, and coaching in different parts of the world, such as Zurich, Switzerland, Mexico City, Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver in Canada.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Creating strong, impactful, and unique marketing strategies to communicate our brand and purpose. Overworking because I don't have a fixed schedule.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be patient.
- Surround yourself with people that inspire you and can make you laugh.
- Build the habits joyfully to be that person for yourself and others.
