One Mind After Another - Infinity of Divinity

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Alpa Pandya, CEO and Founder of Infinity of Divinity, located in Leicester, England, UK.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am the CEO and founder of Infinity of Divinity; we help established business owners and professionals increase their revenue and growth through a series of mindset methods based on 75 years of scientific research.

Tell us about yourself

I am a high-performance growth mindset mentor. I started my business eight years ago by accident. My background really is in radio; being a radio presenter for 27 years presenting for some of the top radio stations in the UK, including BBC local and National radio stations as flagship show presenter of breakfast and drive time shows, I became a household name in England.

It wasn't until 2013 I was introduced to the documentary 'The Secret,' and my whole life turned around. I watched the documentary and came across Bob Proctor, who was the main star of this hit documentary. I was in awe of him and what he was talking about, the mind and how we can tap into this phenomenal powerhouse and manifest our biggest desires. I manifested working with Bob Proctor, the world-renowned leader in human potential and business success, in 2014 and partnered up with him to become a consultant in his organization and help millions of people globally achieve their goals no matter how big.

My motivation is knowing that there are still so many people to help get what they want, to help businesses strive and thrive, and thinking of this makes me want to keep on going.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I've been blessed to have a few, but one of my biggest really is to see others succeed. I had worked with some people who literally lost all hope when their businesses were sinking, and personal lives were in turmoil. Through the work I do and the mentoring I provide, I have seen lives saved and businesses flying high that were literally on the verge of bankruptcy. This, in my eyes, has to be something I think is the biggest win of accomplishments I have had when I know my work is helping and transforming businesses as well as lives.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Wearing all the hats at the beginning of starting a business. You're the salesperson, the social media person, the marketing person, and so on. Most of us come from some kind of career path where we probably specialize in something, and that's our zone of genius. With all that on your plate, it can be easy to get caught up in the status quo and get bogged down trying to learn something you don't really need to know (graphic design, web design, and technology are all usually best outsourced unless that's your area of expertise), and not focus on the most important things (signing new clients/closing customers). So, in the beginning, it's figuring out what NEEDS to be done and what COULD be done, but it could also be put off for another day to focus on the things that actually matter.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

The first tip is to start a business in something that you are passionate about and not where you think the money is. That's the biggest mistake most business owners make in that they run where the money is. And sooner than later, they fall into the trap of having a failing business because they never were passionate about it, and they end up getting bored and less enthused pretty quickly!

Second, stay focused on one thing, master that, and then move on to the next. Most people get so caught up in the running after 'The Next BIG thing" that they spread themselves too thin and end up doing nothing of great consequence. So get good in one line of business first, then start multiple streams to leverage yourself and grow.

Last but certainly not least is relaxation. I see so many entrepreneurs and business owners burn out and frustrated. There is a lighter and a relaxed way to grow your business than burning the midnight candle. In fact, it's exactly what I teach my clients how to get more clients with ease and flow. You'll find that you can get a lot more done in a short time - it's called the effortless way, and this leaves you plenty of time to do more of what you love.
