What's your business, and who are your customers?

iNet Media is a full-service lead generation agency. We help businesses generate more market share online. Our team of 23 in-house members has more than 200 years of collective experience. We are a Google Premier Partner, representing over 250 brands. We take a client-first approach and treat each brand as if they were our own business. We have three divisions to our business: we offer UX website design & Google compliant development, Digital Marketing services such as Google Ads, Search Engine Optimization, Online Display Advertising, and a Social and Communications division. We work with all industries and businesses of every size.

Tell us about yourself

I got started in the industry in 2004. I have always been passionate and intrigued by marketing. At that time, the industry was in its earlier stages. I got an opportunity to start at the ground level and work my way up. I then moved on to a couple of national and international digital agencies before meeting my business partner and starting iNet Media. I love working with businesses and helping them achieve their goals. Our mantra at iNet Media is to treat each business as if it was our own.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment would be the team we have developed. We have an amazing, family-like culture at iNet Media. Our team has been the foundation for our success and growth. They have allowed us to be recognized as a leader in our industry, and everyone has the same passion and goal to help our clients.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Growing pains of growth and keeping on top of change within a very chaotic and ever-changing industry.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a proper business plan; it's imperative that entrepreneurs be prepared both strategically and financially before getting started. The biggest failure we see with start-ups is being underprepared.
  2. Being agile and persistent. Entrepreneurs will face several types of challenges as they start and grow their businesses. Agility is key to shift when needed, and persistence is important to maintain passion and continuity on a path to a business goal.
  3. Marketing...Almost every business starts with some referral or internal network to support it. This often runs out. It's important for business owners to invest in their marketing to continue their growth and to help build more affinity to their brand.
