What's your business, and who are your customers?
Imposed Will is a lifestyle brand created in the heart of the Midwest and founded on a very simple philosophy: EVERYTHING STARTS WITH YOUR MINDSET. We make premium athletic wear and apparel with an emphasis on quality, performance, and style. We are here for the people that want more out of life and are willing to earn it.
Tell us about yourself
All of my life, I have been an entrepreneur. I’ve walked the corporate path after getting my degree, but it never felt right. Building something that will create jobs and impact my community is what drives what I do every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To date, we have completely bootstrapped Imposed Will. Turning little to no money into a real thriving business has been beyond rewarding.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
In the beginning, especially, you’re doing everything. You have to learn how to grow a business and a team. You must constantly be working to improve.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Put all of your eggs in one basket. There is no shortage of “opportunity in the world.”
- Ignore everyone’s opinions and trust your gut and vision.
- Go all in. Business is a daily grind.
