I'mat Dream Brand is an innovative beauty brand that specializes in providing natural and organic solutions for skin, hair, and body care. Our products are made with only the finest ingredients, sourced from around the world, to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness. Our mission is to provide customers with a safe, healthy, affordable way to look and feel their best. Our ideal customers are people who value natural beauty, health, and wellness and who want to make conscious choices in their beauty regimen. We strive to create products that are not only effective but also gentle on the skin and the environment.
Tell us about yourself
I am Tami Curry, mother of 4 beautiful and very talented children. I am originally from Baton Rouge, LA but I now live in Houston, Tx. I resigned from my 13 year property management career and have been a full time entrepreneur going on 4 years. I am Curator of I’mat Dream Brand; cruelty free skin, hair and body care line that provides premium and nourishing products made with the finest ingredients. 97% of the products include includes goat milk. Our products are free from potentially harmful ingredients, so you can feel confident that you're treating your skin hair and body to the best. We believe that self care is an investment, rather than an expense, and our products are designed to provide long-lasting, beautiful results.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Entering retail within 5 months of opening. I'mat Dream Brand is currently being sold online at Walmart.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about owning a business is managing the many responsibilities that come with it. From planning and budgeting to marketing and customer service, there are numerous tasks to juggle and keep up with. Additionally, being an entrepreneur requires a great deal of dedication, discipline, and sacrifice. It can be difficult to stay motivated and focused on achieving success and growth when faced with all the daily challenges of running a business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do your research - Before investing time and money into starting a business, make sure you understand the industry you are entering and the resources available to you. Research the competition, the target market, and the potential for success.
- Create a business plan - A business plan will help you determine the goals and objectives of your business, as well as outline the strategies you need to put in place to reach those goals. It's a helpful tool to keep you on track and make sure you don't miss any important steps.
- Seek advice from professionals - Starting a business can be overwhelming, so don't be afraid to seek help from professionals who are experienced in the field. Finding a lawyer, accountant, or mentor who can provide advice and guidance can be invaluable.
