What's your business, and who are your customers?

I ignite game-changing world leaders who want to make a difference in the world. I am the coach I wish I had as the highest-ranking woman of color in several organizations. I unleash brilliance, natural talent, and creativity by slaying saboteurs and kicking self-doubt to the curb.

Tell us about yourself

I am a spiritual gangster. I am grateful, love to learn, am curious, and believe everything happens for a reason. I got into coaching after being let go from my position and decided to do what I love and am most passionate about, inspiring women of color to live their dreams. I am motivated daily by being surrounded by other fearless women who are making a difference in the world. I hope everyone who comes into my life will experience joy and be changed for the better. I get a kick out of inspiring leaders to be their authentic badass selves.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm living my dream. I get to do what I love every day, and I have the freedom to say yes to who I want to coach, when, and how long.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Marketing. All of my clients come to me via word of mouth.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Surround yourself with mentors, colleagues, and coaches that believe in you.
  2. Rome was not built in a day. Take your time. It's not a race. You are living the dream, so don't forget to soak it all in.
  3. You don't have to know everything. Get help, apps, technology, and experts to help you.
  4. Always be true to who you are - know your core and what you stand for.
