What's your business, and who are your customers?

Humanology Partners works with construction companies. We create safe work environments for people to thrive physically, emotionally, and mentally by reducing work injuries and turnover in the construction industry.

Tell us about yourself

The people who show up are the ones that get me up. Tools don't operate themselves; they need someone, and that someone, in my experience, could use a little help once and a while.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Knowing when I need to ask for help. There is just so much to know. When I first started, I bought into how easy everything was drag and drop, and bam, you have a website, snap a picture of a receipt, and bam, you have accounting. If someone helps me, I get to help others; it's a beautiful process.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Recognizing the small stuff that you do out of habit that continues to move the needle forward. It is so easy to get overwhelmed and feel like nothing is happening.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Clarity, YOU have to have clarity, or you will find yourself frustrated and burnout.
  2. A trusted sounding board, you have to have someone you can reach out to, connect with and share.
  3. Set boundaries with yourself and be accountable. You are the show. You've got to find a way to show up every day.
