What's your business, and who are your customers?
Honest Nutrition USA is a private nutrition practice specializing in Digestive Wellness, including celiac disease, gluten intolerance, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, IBS, and food sensitivities. We provide telehealth services through a HIPAA-compliant platform allowing our clients to receive medical nutrition therapy at home or in the office. We educate, motivate and empower our clients to improve their health through real food, supplements, and lifestyle.
Tell us about yourself
Owner Diana Price is passionate about digestive health, wellness, and ultimately happiness. She has celiac, and her daughter has Crohn's disease. Digestive health is a labor of love. She knows the frustrations that come with digestive diseases and the power of food. Her own health inspired her to receive a Master's in Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Diana continues to be a lifelong learner and is a Monash-trained dietitian and a Certified Gastrointestinal Nutritionist.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Honest Nutrition USA is committed to serving our community and increasing access to care via insurance coverage for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). We are credentialed with several PPO health insurance plans, including Anthem, Aetna, Blue Shield, and United Healthcare.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Finding the balance between seeing clients and operating the business!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Realize you're never going to be 100% ready to start a business.
Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Learn from them and move on.
