What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is all about holistic fertility! We love to help couples conceive without drugs and injections and train doctors to approach fertility in a more holistic way.
Tell us about yourself
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I believed it was my duty to help people live healthier lives. It wasn't till I went through a tough questioning period of what I wanted a "family" to look like that I started researching fertility. I was afraid that I was 'running out of time' to not be with the right partner, and I really wanted to have a baby when I was ready after I met the right partner for me.
Massive research led me to realize everything I had learned about fertility in medical school was based on myths, not science. So, I decided to embrace a new way of being to support my own future fertility, and as women around me started learning about what I was doing, they too wanted my support. Before I knew it, I had hundreds of couples struggling with fertility hoping to work with me and get my support on their journey to the family of their dreams.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is creating a multi-6 figure business, with the support of an extremely small team that feels like family, with the ability to serve 100s of 1000s of couples to improve their overall health while supporting them to have a healthy baby.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me has been riding the waves of ups and downs common in the fertility field. Because of the high stakes in this journey, there is a lot of stress in supporting the fertility journey, but simultaneously, the joy is equally great, if not greater!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Find a mentor who can support you with the ins and outs of running a successful business.
- Know your why - what's the reason why you do what you do; focus on the big mission.
