By assisting job seekers in feeling secure and knowledgeable about their career journey in today's competitive job market, we help people put their best foot forward.

Tell us about yourself

I am a Human Resource professional with over 12 years of experience in talent acquisition and consulting. I was motivated to launch my company because I wanted to give back to the community by arming them with the needed resources to land their dream jobs. Frequently, feelings of self-doubt and anxiety set in at the thought of seeking employment however, our mission is to assist in unleashing their inner greatness via preparation.

Receiving emails or calls from clients sharing their job offers and having the ability to help change the trajectory of people's lives is what motivates me to do this work. It brings me tremendous joy to connect people with opportunities, and I feel honored to be able to serve the community in this way.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been the chance to help others seize new opportunities they felt were not within reach. My most memorable client was a veteran interviewing for a senior leadership role at Johns Hopkins University. We focused on conducting a mock interview session where we worked on behavioral-based interview questions and the S.T.A.R. Method.

Through this exercise, I assisted in sharpening their interviewing skills. I concentrated on how to give clear, concise information during the interview. Not only did my client receive an offer, but my client was also able to negotiate their pay and ended up with a sign-on bonus package and higher base pay. The client was ecstatic with the help I provided and told me they were forever grateful for my assistance in their journey.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the most challenging aspects of being a business owner is juggling competing responsibilities and the feeling of not having enough hours in the day to complete all tasks at hand. To work optimally, I must remember to give myself grace, pace myself, and embrace the opportunity to recharge.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
