What's your business, and who are your customers?

Himalayan Java is a family-owned company in Seattle, WA. Himalayan Java offers its customers the best-tasting coffee beverages in the country. We have achieved this by using high-quality ingredients and strictly following preparation guidelines. Along with the espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and teas, we also sell other refreshment drinks in our coffee bar. Himalayan Java introduces you to the bounty of the Himalayas through our coffee beans.

Tell us about yourself

I am from Nepal, and I love coffee from Nepal. Living in the coffee capital, I have an opportunity to introduce coffee from Nepal to the people of Seattle. I love being around people. I enjoy making great coffee for my customers and always seek smiles on their faces with satisfaction as my reward.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is providing job opportunities to my employees and training them as business owners in the future.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Leading a team and setting an example to the team.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Planning, hard work, and discipline
