What's your business, and who are your customers?

High End Beauty carefully selects beauty brands to partner with and grow with. Each brand is unique & special with its own story. As a certified woman-owned company, we try our best to partner with like or minority-owned brands and companies. We pay extra attention to the product to ensure it’s non-toxic & earth-friendly.

We also will not have two like brands to create a happy family portfolio. This system has worked great for us, and our growth has doubled year after year.

Tell us about yourself

How I started in the business and where it’s led me to today are two different paths. I started in 2009 selling excess & returned beauty products from retailers. I love the beauty industry, studying ingredients, keeping on top of beauty trends & of course, sampling all the products myself.

This passion led me to the path I’m on today, which is helping brands grow in the beauty space they’d like to be as well as creating my own brand Eyetitude.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One of my accomplishments I’m proud of is becoming a certified business with the WBENC, WOSB & WECONNECT. I’ve met so many great people as well as assistance with tools for my business.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I find the hardest thing is the certainty that things will change and the uncertainty of how to navigate through the changes and not only just stay in business but actually grow.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

My first tip is to make sure you love what you do. Even when you love what you do, there will be things within it that you do not love, but it will all be okay if it goes back to your passion. My second would be not to take things too seriously and have fun, and my third would be to be flexible with yourself and the people you work with.
