What's your business, and who are your customers?
Herr Candle Co. creates scented candles & wax melts inspired by dreams & the dreaming mind. My 13+ years of experience in dream interpretation has led to the unique approach of pairing a “dream type” to each candle to help you understand more about what your dreams could mean. The fact that our candles are inspired by dreams makes our products unlike any other on the market. Each is truly unique and meaningful.
Tell us about yourself
Candles & dreams have inspired us to connect with our health & mood on a deeper level. When you light our wood wick candles, the wick gives off a soft crackling sound, similar to that of a real fireplace. These pleasing sounds ultimately bring out a more soothing atmosphere and extra radiance to the candle. Your mind can find peace.
The sense of smell is one of the most powerful of the human senses. The neurons associated with smell connect the external world directly to the brain with a strong connection to the limbic system (the emotion-regulating part of the brain). This is one of the reasons that emotions, feelings, and memories can be triggered by scents.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
This year we attended our first pop-up market! This was a big goal for us.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Learning new things is exactly what your brain wants! Give it a try! Share with the world what you have created.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Create something beautiful. Believe in your creation. Talk about your product like it’s one of the things that you love the most. :)
