What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business started off as designing clogs. Then we ventured out to being suppliers for other small businesses.
Tell us about yourself
Our business started off with the driven ambition of a (12-year-old) at the time. My daughter has an imagination and creativity in this world. She loves fashion, so we expanded to earrings, patches, brooches, and fabrics, instead of blinging items for customers. I wake up everyday and remind myself that I am raising a young entrepreneur that looks up to me. Sky is the limit. She comes up with ideas, and we execute them.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment is a teen entrepreneur who is doing/reselling things and items she loves. And a mom experiencing the smile and happiness her daughter has for every purchase and encouraging words she receives.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
For us, the hardest thing that comes to being a business owner is managing and balancing a business, work, school, and personal life all at once.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a vision.
- Make a plan.
- Execute your plan, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can not do it.
