Helping coaches and creatives to get out of the daily “grind” - Koncave Business Services
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business coaching, but not sure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Shauna Vassell from Koncave Business Services.
What's your business and who are your customers?
I help coaches and creatives to get out of the daily “grind”, so they can step into their role as a CEO and build the dream business. We value the people we work with, because we know that, just like us, they are building your business for the same reasons we are - to help others.
Tell us about yourself
Initially I started my business for my own selfish reasons. I wanted to be financially independent, and I hated being told what to do – maybe an entrepreneur thing :)
But after working with more and more business owners, my purpose shifted and I didn't just want to build a legacy just for my family, but I want to help them build theirs. Sharing my talents and gifts so they can change the world.
That’s what keeps me going! The ability to wake up each morning and know that every day I make a difference in someone else lives, and they make a difference in others. I think of it as the domino that influences the other dominoes.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being a role model for my son, so he is able to think in possibilities.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Show up everyday even when I wasn’t ready. The backstory to this – I’ve never had to do this much inner work in my decades on this planet. Becoming a business owner I had so much to unpack, unlearn, recondition and embrace before I could grow.
What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
1. Don’t be married to the outcome – things change.
2. Focus on who you are and less on who you “should” be.
3. Pay attention to where your energy flows.
Where can people find you and your business?
