What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help/inspire/motivate and coach individuals in keeping their promise to themselves in weight management. My patients are generally made up of anyone who wants a lifestyle change and wants to learn an effective way of losing weight that suits them.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up with an obese mother who died from complications related to her food addiction. I was unable to help her. So I'm passionate about assisting others in conquering the fear and trepidation around losing weight and changing their habits.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is consistently providing excellent service and exceeding the weight loss goals we set for my patients by partnering with them during this process.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Getting and maintaining a consistent customer/client/patient base.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a business plan.
  2. Tell everyone you know/via word of mouth, social media, etc.
  3. Have a proven system track record.
  4. Always be truthful and transparent.
  5. Blog, blog, blog.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I feel that having a passion for helping people, a sound business plan, and a desire to succeed are the main ingredients for running, maintaining, and growing a successful business.
