What's your business, and who are your customers?
My mission at Hara Healing is for each and every client to gain a sense of clarity and calm when walking away from a session! I specialize in intuitive Gendai Reiki, but I also give Claircognizant feedback to each client. I offer one-on-one sessions, but I thrive when working with a community, so my main focus has been hosting various partnered events in the greater Twin Cities!
Tell us about yourself
Hey! I'm Marissa Prill, the founder, and owner of Hara Healing! My business actually stemmed from my own personal journey. About five years ago, I began to devote much of my alone time to connecting with who I was on a deeper level than I'd ever had before. During this time, I learned so much about myself. I sat with the uncomfortable things that sunk below the surface. I saw parts of myself that needed healing, unaddressed trauma that needed addressing, and insecurities that unknowingly affected my daily life. While focusing on all these things (and more), I came across Reiki, and I felt an instant connection! I knew I was called to practice energy healing and to assist others in finding their way back home to their authentic selves as well!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
There have been so many amazing accomplishments that I could never have dreamt of coming true since starting my business, but I would have to say that the biggest accomplishment, and the one I'm most proud of, would have to be Creator's Fair. Creator's Fair is an event that my business partner, Grace Panian, and I put together three times a year. The event essentially consists of bringing together healing, arts, and crafts in a space where everyone can promote their business/services, sell their product, and network with like-minded individuals! Our mission is to support local businesses while connecting as a community. It is such a unique and fun experience, and the best part is it's free to the public! Our next one is on 4/23/23!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I think the hardest thing for me is finding a balance between my personal life, my passions, my day job, my business, and my alone time. It can get to be a lot sometimes, but the outcome is so, so worth it!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Do your research, invest in yourself, and most of all, BELIEVE you can do it! If I can, so can you!
