What's your business, and who are your customers?

Hands On Concierge Service is a Business to Business and a Business to Consumer service-based company. We offer personalized and customized services to all our clients and customers.

Tell us about yourself

I am Valencia D. Walker, the CEO of HOCS, and I was destined to be in an Entrepreneurial-ship. It was perfect timing when I started this business. What motivates me is the fact that I am able to help and serve the community. My daily motivation is the fact that there is always someone to serve and assist in all the services that I provide.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has the faith to start and keep going. I am, to this day, seven years into my Entrepreneurial-ship and five years of success with Hands On Concierge Services.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest tasks for me would probably be not working so many long days. I consistently work 10-12 hour days at least four times a week.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start with a strong foundation. Learn What it takes to really Start, Run, and Grow, a business.
  2. Get a Coach or Mentor in the area of expertise that you desire to work in.
  3. Discipline and constant learning are important.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I love being an entrepreneur. I wake up every day excited and happy about life because I know there is a purpose and a plan daily for me to perform and fulfill. I love what I do and the people I do it for. Hands On Concierge Services is a Business Name and Brand given to me by GOD in 2017; it was like an Epiphany.

The excitement in my business is that I know that I was destined and that it is my purpose in life to inform, help the community I serve, assist and give back to others.
